Right now, Brian and I should be in China, and tomorrow we were going to hold baby pandas at the Chengdu Panda Research Base. Instead of me, this is a picture of my travel idol, Samantha Brown, holding MY panda. The upside is that we were going to work there for about eight hours, and I guess I don't have to shovel panda poop...Quite frankly, I'd take the poop over T.B.I. and an impending stem cell transplant. Yes, I know we'll eventually get to China, but I'm not the kind of person who likes to wait, especially when everything was ready to go. I do have that $200 China visa in my passport...it's good until the end of the year if anyone looks like me.
