Out of Alcatraz today by 2pm! It has taken a while to dig out of the wall. My zigzagging through off the guards, I am getting ready to swim with the sharks now.
I will have to come into infusion for a once-a-day IV treatment to appease Dr. Infectious Disease, but if I need platelets or blood, it can be a one-stop drive through. And, I will get to drive myself. There is something to be said for independence.
Before I get off this island, I need to steal some masks. If you come visit me at the house (before I'm interned again on April 14th), you'll have to wear one. We have found them to be slightly suffocating and claustrophobic. It's a good time.
