Seattle: Day 1

After an early flight (and the wrong side of the airport for the Rice Krispie bars), we made it to Seattle. My friend Kate--a teammate at NWU--picked us up with her two girls; her son was at his last day of school. 

We went back to her house to get her husband, Keith, and we headed to Aqua Verde for awesome fish tacos and a view. We climbed a hill at Gasworks Park, and I had my first Starbucks treat. 

Brian and I did some shopping at University Village. North Face stuff jumped into our bag. 

The girls fell in love with my crocodile that's a baby rattle.

We are relaxing at the Watertown Hotel--they have cupcakes and coffee at happy hour.

It's a beautiful day here. No humidity. No rain. Lots of sun. Seattle, really?
